Blue Sky: The Podfic

A lot of people have been asking what’s been going on with this project the past few months, and I am really very sorry for the lack of posts lately. 

However, a lot’s been going on behind the scenes! A few of the cast members had a read-through of the first chapter a couple weeks ago, and I can happily say that I’m about a 100% sure that none of you will be disappointed. 

Most of the lines for the first chapter have been recorded, save our GLaDOS, who is currently busy. After we have all our recorded audio collected and edited, they’ll go over to the sound team so that they can put them together and add the music and sound effects. 

We were planning to have a chapter out once a month once this first one was up, but it might take a bit longer than expected. I’m not so sure about the length of time it will take to get each chapter out, but hopefully we’ll have an estimate soon.

As for where we’re going to host the files, we’re contacting a few people to try and put up a website at the moment, and they will hopefully be available on iTunes as free podcasts.

I absolutely cannot forget to mention the names of fantastic audio team. CKC, Devin, Matt, Harry, Yuki, Ghostling - thank you for offering to assist us with this, and indeed, a huge thanks to everyone who auditioned. I know that some of you may have not gotten the parts you wanted, but we still appreciate every single one of you. We hope that we’ll still have your support even if you did not get cast. :) Also, I say this often, but this really could not have happened without Artoveli and Ridel - and Waffles as well. Thank you, girls. <3

One month of this and auditions are finally and (somewhat) completely over! But we’ve still got so much left to go. To our brand new cast, I hope you’re all aware of what you’re heading into… :D And I hope that you’ll enjoy it immensely. 

It hurts me to see this up here just as much as it hurts you, honest, but I’m afraid that you’re all going to have to wait a little bit longer for parts to be announced. We’re doing our best to go through the auditions and discuss who would be best for each character, however, timezones and conflicting schedules are not really agreeable. I apologise, I did want roles to be cast by today, but it’s not possible at the moment.

We have holding off a little while longer, but plan to have the list up by Monday at the latest. :) Thanks for your understanding.
